SPEAKER_01My goodness. I can see it so clearly right now. If you think about what happened that day when they were delivered out of the hands of the enemy, how much freedom they must have felt knowing that they're no longer going to be in bondage again. You know, when he was saying that he said, I'm no longer a slave to fear. Guys, that is freedom. We are no longer held captive by fear any longer. Fear has no more hold on your life. Now, whether or not you live in fear or not, that's up to you. But Jesus has set you free from fear, and you have to receive that freedom right now. If you want it, you can have it right now. Do you receive that kind of freedom? Now, what brings fear in a person's life is the bondage that came from sin. Sin brought bondage into our lives. Adam's sin brought the sin curse upon this world. But we are freed from that because of what Jesus did. So we could also sing, I'm no longer a slave to sin. Come on, somebody, I'm no longer a slave to sin. Sin has no more hold on you. And when Pharaoh's army was coming after all, Pharaoh's army represented sin and the curse. And what God was trying to do for the children of Israel is take them through this city to bring them freedom from all the sin, curse, and bondages they had experienced for over 400 years. All they had ever known was sin. All they had ever known was bondage and fear. But God was trying to lead them out. And when they got to the other side, it said Pharaoh's army determined that they were gonna go after the children of Israel, and as they were in this city, guess what happened? God released the waters, and the waters covered the sin, covered the army, sin would never be remembered again. We're delivered from it. We're not held bondage again. You say, well, I made some mistakes this week. That is not your nature. If you're a child of God, your nature is not a sinner any longer. Your nature is I am a I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Amen. We're not held bondage any longer. Hallelujah. Y'all might as well sit down because if you don't, I'm gonna keep on preaching. So praise the Lord. Thank you guys. I'm fired up right now, man. I'm just all morning long. I'm like, I just gotta get to church. I'm ready. I'm so excited. God is doing so many great things here. Hallelujah. So much freedom in this place, so much joy in the house. Are you free this morning? Hallelujah. Glory to God. Father, I thank you for your word this morning. I thank you that your word brings freedom. Your word brings truth, and that truth will make us free. And Lord, I'm expecting freedom today. I'm expecting some people to be set free today because of your word. In Jesus' name. Amen. For too many years the church has been held in bondage. Satan has whispered in the ears of the believers for too long, you're unworthy. You have no hope. There's just one problem after the other in your life. And you've adopted the language of the enemy and said, you know what, I'm just not worthy. Or I'm not, I'm just no good. And we've just allowed the enemy to whisper these things in our ears, and we've been just submitting to these thoughts for years. But I'm here to tell you this morning, we have the victory in Jesus. That victory is our language. So when we're talking to one another, we're talking victory. Too many times during family reunions, I know this for a fact because I had to tell everyone that came into my house during Thanksgiving. I don't, it's probably not the most popular thing to do when you walk into my house on Thanksgiving dinner, is I told them you're not allowed to talk about sickness, you're not allowed to talk about diseases, you're not allowed to talk about problems. All we're going to be talking about today is victory and how God, how good our God is, and we're going to be thankful. If you're going to come in here and talk doubt and unbelief, get out of my house. That was my instructions before I prayed on Thanksgiving. It's not a popular statement, but I'm telling you, this house, life, family church, you don't come in here talking about sickness and disease. We come in here talking victory and how good our God is and how free we are. And we're not held bondage any longer. Amen? We're here to be a blessing to people, not to bring curses on people. Glory to God. We're free. Now, I want to bring a few things to your attention. And this is something I believe will just bless you, but it's absolutely something that is foundational in your Christian walk. And I want you to get a hold of these things. So there's quite a few scriptures, so get ready if you're writing. Jesus lived, write this down. Jesus lived a completely sinless life. That is the foundation of our Christian faith, is that Jesus lived completely free from sin. There was no sin or guile found in his mouth. Jesus, you would never heard him speak unbelief. You would have never heard him speak defeat. There was no defeat that ever came out of Jesus' mouth. He was the example that we're supposed to live by. And if Jesus spoke victory, and there was never any sin or fear or unbelief that was spoken through Jesus, that's exactly how we're supposed to live. He is our example that we live by. Now, I will say, is there anybody in here that's perfect in that? And if you raise your hand, will you please come up here and preach to us? We really need you. None of us are perfect in this. But thank God we're not doing this in our own ability. We're not doing this in our own power, but we're doing this because of the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 3.23 says this, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Did you realize that God gave Israel over 613 laws? 613. How many of you all think you could handle that? That's a pretty tough uh standard to live under. It was almost as if anything you did was wrong. Have you ever felt that way? No matter what I do, I do it wrong. You know, I just every time I make I just make mistakes. Well, that's exactly how you were supposed to feel. There was over, now get this, there were over four to six thousand. So four thousand or six thousand, depending on how you interpreted it. Man-made laws. So let's put that together. Six thousand six hundred and thirteen laws. That if you did not live in those standards, you were considered sinfer. Sinful sinfer. You're sinferred. You're sinful. Amen. It was almost as if every time man started getting a glimpse of freedom, the Pharisees would just get angry at it and start writing new policies. Come on, somebody. Here comes another tax. I should have got a better amen from that one. I fix my house up, whoop, man, your land tax is going up. You do anything to improve your life? Oh, I'm gonna supply thousands of jobs. Guess what? We're gonna tax you for it. The enemy's always been that way. It'll always be that way. But we serve a God who told us we're not subject to the law any longer because of Jesus. There were two types of laws, one of them being conditional, based on your actions and what you did. The other one was unconditional. Jesus, or two types of covenants, two covenants. One was unconditional, one was conditional. The conditional one we find in Deuteronomy 28. If you guys have ever read Deuteronomy 28, if you want to turn there real fast, I want you to see something. Deuteronomy 28. It says this, it shall come to pass if, if you want to underline, if, thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments, which I have commanded thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth, and all these blessings shall come upon thee and overtake thee. If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall you be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thine kind, and the uh the flocks of thy sheep, blessed shall be thy basket and thy store, blessed shalt thou be when thou goeth in, and blessed shall thou be when thou goeth out. These are conditional, and there's much, much more, but I wanted to bring this up to your attention because this was conditional. That if you follow the law, you will be blessed. How many of you in here could follow 6,613 laws so you can be blessed? But there's still churches out there today that preach that if you will do this, this, this, this, this, God will bless you. If you read the Bible all the way through and pray for six hours, God will heal you. Now, should you read your Bible all the way through? Yes. Absolutely. What a blessing. And should you believe that God is your healer? Yes, you should. But does it require you to read through the entire Bible and to pray for six hours just to be qualified to read or to receive healing? It doesn't. It sounds so simple, but yet in so many small ways, a lot of people are still held bondage by the law. Hebrews 4 verse 15. Jesus was in all points tempted like we are, but yet without sin. 1 Peter 2 22 says, Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth. Jesus fulfilled the moral requirements of the law by perfect obedience. He was perfect. If Jesus would have sinned, we would not be here right now. This world would have exploded. Nothing would exist. Everything is held together because of Jesus. Everything. So if your life is falling apart, I would encourage you to focus on Jesus. If you feel like everything in my life is just chaotic, focus on Jesus. Take your attention off of the circumstances and look unto Jesus. He'll bring steadiness, security, and peace in your life. Jesus fulfilled the law's righteous standards. The law demanded perfect, perfect righteousness. It demanded perfection. In order to receive the blessings of the law, you had to perfect every one of them. We were not capable of doing that. And God knew we weren't capable of doing it. The law was never meant to bless us. God never gave us the law to be a blessing for us. It was to show us that we were incapable of doing it. It was to be our school teacher, our schoolmaster to tell you that you're not able to do it. So stop trying. It could be like this. Stop striving to be perfect. Come on, somebody. Stop trying to be perfect. Stop trying to produce holiness. You're not going to hear this in too many Pentecostal churches. Stop trying. And start putting your faith in the only one who could supply what you needed. It only comes through Jesus. So there's no reason for us to strive to try to be perfect, to strive to be holy. He was the only righteous judge. He's the only one that can fulfill the law perfectly. So we look unto Jesus, the only one who can supply everything we ever needed. The word fulfill. Let me read this. Matthew 5, 17 says this. Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets. I'm not come to destroy the law, I've come to fulfill it. See, the law is still into effect for people who are in into sin. People that are walking in sin are still walking under judgment. And if they don't come unto Jesus and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they will have to pay the punishment of sin. And that is eternal separation from God Almighty. That's why it's so important that we go out and we reach the lost. Because if they don't hear the gospel and they don't turn from the nature of sin and turn to Jesus, they will be lost forever in eternal damnation. We don't want that. The word fulfill means to complete or to bring to full measure. Jesus fulfilled three different laws: the moral law, the ceremonial law, and the prophetic law. And he fulfilled them perfectly. The sacrificial system was meant to be that if a person sins, you have to sacrifice an animal. And I'm telling you, they were all sinning. So there had to be a lot of animals. It's like driving down Beardstown when they're the wind's blowing in the right direction and you smell all that death. That's exactly what it must have smelled like. There was so much death. Why? Because man was full of sin. And there had to be a sacrifice for sin. But guys, killing an animal would never be the completion of the sacrifice. There had to be a lamb that was spotless, a lamb that came in the likeness of human flesh as a substitute for mankind. All those lambs and all those animals that they had to sacrifice were always pointing to a coming Savior who would be the sin sacrifice that would complete everything. And I'm here to tell you, Jesus fulfilled it perfectly when he got up on the cross and he died for our sins once and for all. And I'm going to tell you something, he will never do it again. His work was finished. There's a lot of people, I've I the reason why I'm saying this is because I was one of those people for so many years that felt like I had to suffer the punishment of sin. When I did something wrong, I felt like I need to feel guilty over it. And I'm gonna say something that might shock you. It does you no good to feel guilty. The best thing you could do is when you mess up, fess up. Don't cover up. Don't put a band-aid over something that Jesus has already healed. When you make a mistake, don't run from God, don't hide from God, run to God and thank him that he provided a sacrifice. That I don't have to live in bondage any longer. That I'm free from bondage. Too many preachers, they want you to feel guilt and shame over what you did, you dirty old sinner. You nasty old person, you shouldn't have done that. You know better than that. How many of all how many of you all have ever done something you knew better? But you did it anyways. You pressed past what you knew, but you did it anyways. Paul said, the things that I want to do, that I don't do, the things that I shouldn't do, I do. Oh, wretched man that I am. But thanks be unto God through Jesus Christ. Amen. So Paul knew I'm just like everybody else. The things that I know I should do, I don't do. The things that I should do, I don't, I do, I don't. I don't even know how it goes. But but know this that no matter how much we fall, no matter how many times you're tempted, no many how many, no matter how many times the enemy tries to convince you that you're no good, I'm gonna tell you something. We don't look to ourselves as the one who should be perfect. We look to Jesus, the one who is perfect. And our confidence and our faith is only in Him. Sacrifices were only temporary, they were only a temporary solution. Sacrifices were like putting a band-aid over a fatal wound. There's a lot of people that want to do things to try to get God's approval, to try to prove to God how holy they are, how righteous they are. You don't have to prove anything to God. Jesus already proved it. You don't have to try to be righteous, Jesus already did it. You don't have to try to gain anything to get God's approval. God's already approval. His approval is upon Jesus. He made it simple. He went from 6,613 laws to two. Love God and love people. How easy is that? And that is the fulfillment of the law. Jesus has always tried to make this simple. Follow after me. Or if you're from the south, follow after me. Follow after me. Wow, that came out. Hebrews 10 1 through 4 talks about how it's not it's not possible that the bull blood of bulls and goats should take away sin. It's impossible. I can't do it. There was only one sacrifice. Jesus became the final sacrifice. Hebrews 10 10, we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all. He fulfilled every sacrifice in the law. Jesus took the curse of the law upon him. The law also contained. Now if you go down Deuteronomy, you'll see if you don't fulfill the law, if you don't do this, you shall be cursed. You'll be cursed in the city, cursed in the town, cursed in your storehouse, cursed in your body. Sickness and disease will be upon you. But I'm here to tell you that Jesus delivered us from the curse of the law. And he became a curse for us so that we could receive redemption and be brought back. He paid the ultimate price so that you could be free. My advice is just receive it and run with freedom. Run with him. Be free. Don't be held in bondage any longer. You're free from bondage. It's no longer your nature to be a sinner. Your nature is in Christ. Jesus took the law and the curse of the law. The law also contained curses, but Jesus became our curse. Since every person broke the law, everyone was under the curse. There was no hope for humanity but Jesus. But God, who is rich in mercy. Galatians 3 3 13 says, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. At the cross, Jesus absorbed the penalty that the law demanded. So why do we celebrate the freedom that he provided at the cross? Why do we celebrate Easter? Why do we celebrate these holidays? Why do we celebrate is because Jesus took all the sin upon himself and all the result of sin upon himself. There had to be a sacrifice. God was going to pour his wrath on someone. Someone had to be what the Bible calls the propitiation, the go-between, the one that would stand between God and man. There had to be. And Jesus said, I'll do that. I'll do it. I just want, I know you know this, but it's I want to bring this to your attention. This was not easy for Jesus. This was hard. And if you really meditate on that for a long time, Jesus didn't want to die. Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane and he was there praying, and he told God, if there's any other way, let this cup pass before me. If there's any other way, God, but he also mentioned this never not my will, but your will be done. Not my will, but your will. So when he got up on the cross, the wrath of God was poured out upon Jesus. Every sin, every curse, every disease was placed upon him. So guess what? If it was all cast on him, and he took it and nailed it to the cross, you don't have to. You don't have to. It's not yours to bear. I've heard it before. It's just my cross to bear, brother. No, we're not bearing crosses anymore. We're not bearing sickness and disease anymore. And no, it's not your fault. We would like to say, well, I just brought it on myself. Sin and the effects of sin will try to attack every one of us. But we have freedom in Jesus. We're not held bondage any longer. Whom the Son has set free is free indeed. Freedom belongs to us. This is the heart of the gospel. Is it good news to tell people they're on their way to hell? How many people have you led to the Lord by telling them, oh yeah, brother, you're on your way to hell. Glory to God. That is not the gospel. The gospel is talking about what Jesus did to provide a way of escape from hell. And we don't have to go to that nasty place called hell. That we can go to the kingdom of God. We can go to heaven to be with Him. The heart of the gospel, Jesus lived the life we could not live perfect and obedient. Jesus died the death we deserved. He took the curse of the law upon himself. Jesus gave us the righteousness we could never earn. We can never strive hard enough to receive what he received. We have to receive it only in what he provided. Jesus fulfilled the law so we could live in grace and covenant and blessing eternally. Eternally. Every command we failed, Jesus obeyed. Every curse we deserved, Jesus carried. Every requirement of the law, Jesus fulfilled. And we, and when when he said it is finished, the law demands that we were satisfied forever. Forever. Jesus has the victory over the conditional law of Deuteronomy 28. So now when we read Deuteronomy 28, I'm going to read it a little different. And you ought to write this in your Bible too because I think it'll bless you. When you read it, you should say, and it shall come to pass, because Jesus hearkened diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God. He observed and he did all the commandments which God commanded this day. And the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth because of Jesus' obedience. And all these blessings shall come upon thee and overtake thee. Because Jesus hearkened unto the voice of the Lord thy God. Blessed shall thou be in the city, and blessed shall thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kind, the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shall be when thou goeth in, and blessed shall thou be when thou goeth out. Because the Lord had done it all. That's how we should read Deuteronomy 28 from here on. He fulfilled it all. Glory to God. Amen. I want to bring up one more thing. There was another one called the Divinic Law. And that, or I'm sorry, I keep calling it law, covenant. That covenant was that David's kingdom will rule eternally. And let me tell you something. Jesus was from the seed of David. So the covenant that was on David when Jesus was on this earth continued. And the kingdom of God shall reign forevermore. There shall be no end to the blessings. There shall be no end to what he's provided. Let me tell you something, in case you didn't know it, it gets better and better and better. And better and better and better. And when you think it's okay and great, it gets better and better and better. And better and better and better. The righteous of the Lord, the days get brighter and brighter and brighter and brighter and gooder and gooder and gooder and gooder. Fever and ever and ever and ever. And when we praise him for 10,000 years, we're just getting warmed up, baby. Because his goodness goes on and on and on and on and on and on forevermore. And when you think you'd figure God out, guess what? He'll show you just another glimpse of his goodness. And he'll turn to one side and you'll say, Oh, it's glorious. It's wonderful. It's amazing. It's so good to serve you. Then he'll just move just an inch and you'll say, Oh my goodness, look at the glory of God, how good he is, how wonderful God is. The angels go around the throne 24-7 every day and they say, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come. Every time we come before God, we can see his goodness, his mercy, his grace, his forgiveness, his judgment is no more upon us. We walk in favor, we walk in blessing, we walk in goodness. And if you're thinking to yourself, every time I turn around, something bad happens to me, you need to regain the voice of victory. You need to recapture the voice of who you are in Christ Jesus. I'm not defeated, I'm victorious in Jesus' name. I'm not victorious because of my ability, because of my striving, because of my efforts. I'm victorious because of Jesus Christ and only because of him. And there is nothing I can do to improve on perfection. Jesus perfected the law. He did it all. He completed, he fulfilled it, he topped it off. There's nothing you can do, Chuck. Don't try. Don't even make a mistake to try. And every time we try to improve on perfection, we mess it up. We get ourselves out of position to receive. The reason why the beggar was at the temple and he was receiving from people is because he was a great occup, he was a great receiver. His occupation was to receive. The beggar was standing there, they placed him there, and he he was asking for alms. His hands was up, begging for alms. And Peter and John come instead, silver and gold, we don't have. But what we have is the name of Jesus. So in the name of Jesus, get up and walk. Amen. In the name that the beggar, the reason why he was good at receiving, because that's all he ever did. The Bible calls you a believer. I like to say it this way: that is my occupation. Some of you are carpenters by trade. You build things, right? Some of you are fishermen. You like to fish. That's your occupation. I'm a fisherman. Some of you all hunt. I'm a hunter. Some of you are doctors. I do that. I doctor things. That's why I'm not a doctor. But all of us, because of Jesus, our occupation is I'm a believer. Why? Because that's what we do. We're professional believers. What's your occupation? I believe. Amen. What do you do for a living? I believe. That's my occupation. Well, how do you live by that? I don't know. I just believe. You don't know, you don't have to know everything. All you have to know is one thing. And that's Jesus Christ and Him crucified. That's all you need to know to live victorious in this life. You don't have to strive, try to gain perfection. Just look to Him, the author and the finisher of our faith. Amen. Let's all stand up. I want y'all to repeat this after me. The Lord is good, and his mercy endures forever. Let's say it again. The Lord is good, and his mercy endures forever. Say, I receive the blessing of the covenant. It belongs to me. Someone in here just said, Well, I'm not a Jew. I'm not a Jew. Well, guess what? This promise is not just for the Jews anymore. Jesus did it and said, This is also for the Gentiles. So if you're a Gentile in here and if you're someone in here and you say, Well, maybe it's for somebody else, it's not for me, I want you to point to yourself, friend. Everybody point to yourself. This blessing is for me. Say it. It's for me. Some of you just now sitting here thinking, but I did this, but I did this. I don't care what you did. Now, because of Jesus, it's unconditional love. No more conditions on the promises other than looking to Jesus. Amen. Say this with me. I'm one more thing, one more thing. Say this with me. I am a believer.
unknownI am a believer.
SPEAKER_01And I believe. In Jesus' name. Hallelujah. So, Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you that you have done it all. And Lord, we're not looking to our own ability, our own efforts, but we're looking unto you. I don't have to live pure and holy anymore, but I get to because you are pure and holy, and I imitate you. I imitate you. I love you, and I'm looking to you to be my leader and the one I admire and want to focus on. I don't want to focus on the sins any longer. I want to take my eyes off of my the sin that I've committed in my past, and I want to look to Jesus. Look to you. I want to take my eyes off the world and put my eyes on Jesus. I want to take my eyes off the wind and the waves and look to Jesus. Look to you. You will keep me above the water. You will keep me walking on water. I put my faith and my put my trust on you in Jesus' name. If you're in here today and you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you're missing out on the blessing. You're missing out on an opportunity to live in a position of blessing and strength and righteousness. So if you're in here and you need to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, if you would just slip out from where you are and come up here, I'm going to lead you to the Lord. If that's you, come up here. Don't hesitate. If you sense your heart is just beaten out of your chest and you know that you know that you know that you need to come up here and receive Jesus as your Lord. I want you to just slip out from where you are and come on up here. Are you in here, anybody? It's an opportunity. God won't reject you. He loves you. He's provided everything he can for you, but you have to receive it. So that's exactly what we're going to do here right now. Everyone, under the sound of my voice, I want you to do this. I want you to lift up your hands right now. And I want you to repeat this after me. Say, Lord Jesus, I receive what you've provided through your grace. I'm healed because you provided it. I'm blessed because you provided it. I'm prosperous because you provided it. I'm at peace because you provided it. I'm walking in freedom because you provided it. There is no sin hold. There is no more sin nature in my life. I'm free because of what Jesus did. When the enemy comes to whisper in my ear, I will yell back at him. Jesus did it all. Jesus did it all. And I walk in what he provided. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Do you receive that? Are you blessed in here today? Amen. She said it. She's over here preaching. Now she's over here preaching. You want a microphone? She's over here saying she's blessed, and her car burned up out in the parking lot last Sunday. Come on, somebody. Sometimes just knowing how good God is is enough. A lot of people want proof. I don't need proof. I got Jesus. I got Jesus. I don't need proof. I got Jesus. If you have Jesus, you have it all. You have it all. There's no more improving on Jesus. Amen. Amen. I don't even know what to say now. Just I love you. And uh you have a great weekend, the rest of the weekend. And Wednesday, we will see every one of you all here. Amen. Because you want to continue hearing about how blessed you are, right?
SPEAKER_00Thanks for listening. We hope that this message helps you draw closer to God as you walk out your faith. We'll see you next week.
